Educational Events 2026
Clinical Meetings & Conferences
Ophthalmic nursing in Australia is a diverse, ever-changing field affected by the changing nature of healthcare practices and new therapeutic developments and technological advances. Ongoing education and self-development are essential aspects of a nurse’s registration. We offer three educational seminars a year — our clinical meetings earning 3 CPD points each — and a conference, which earns 6 CPD points. Please see our events calendar below. A link to a flyer with more detail for each event will be added as their date approaches.
If you are interested in presenting a paper or an educational session for a clinical meeting, please send an email to admin@aona.org.au
Our annual conference is always a huge success and a great networking opportunity. Click here to visit our dedicated conference page.
